Load break switches or LBS are used for 11KV load isolation, primarily to protect transformers during heavy load or isolate power during maintenance works. Air insulated LBS switches operate at 11KV with ratings at 630A, 18.3KA Short circuit rating, 28KV High Voltage withstand and 78KV impulse voltage withstand capacity. Generaly used for transformer ratings of upto 1000KVA. Our LBS switches have been tested and certified at CPRI labs to withstand high current, high voltage up to 28KV yet perform flawlessly to interrupt short circuits and overload fault conditions. These compact panels replace the large outdoor pole structures exposed to dangerous risks.

Additional transformer protection with shunt trip relay can be installed for transformer winding temperature, oil temperature, Bucholz and Surge protection.
